Welcome to Sharestead AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sharestead AI ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the Sharestead AI website, platform, algorithmic signal systems, or associated services (collectively, the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. Platform Eligibility and Scope of Services
Sharestead AI provides algorithmic market intelligence, automated analytical indicators, and algorithmic trade execution workflow interfaces for digital asset trading. The Platform is available only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and are capable of forming legally binding contracts. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and that your use complies with all applicable local, provincial, and national laws and regulations, including applicable federal and provincial legislation across Canada.
2. Informational and Analytical Nature of Services
All data, market analytics, quantitative models, algorithmic signals, and calculated indicators displayed through Sharestead AI are provided strictly for educational and informational purposes. Sharestead AI is a technology and software provider; it is not a registered investment dealer, portfolio manager, commodity trading advisor, or financial advisor under Canadian securities regulations or international regulatory authorities. Nothing contained on the Platform constitutes legal, tax, financial, or personalized investment advice. Any trade execution automated via API connections or platform integrations is carried out exclusively at your direction and discretion.
3. User Account and Access Security
To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register an account and generate administrative access credentials. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, API keys, and multi-factor authentication tokens. You accept complete responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Sharestead AI immediately upon discovering any unauthorized access, security compromise, or breach of your credentials.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to access and use the Platform solely for lawful trading and analytical activities. You specifically agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or extract proprietary algorithmic logic, source code, or internal signal methodologies of Sharestead AI;
- Deploy automated scrapers, data-mining routines, or extraction scripts without express written permission;
- Engage in coordinated market manipulation, spoofing, wash trading, or abusive trading strategies across connected exchanges;
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or disruptive software designed to degrade platform stability;
- Misrepresent your identity, location, or regulatory status during registration or account operation.
5. Proprietary and Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in the Platform—including software algorithms, user interface designs, mathematical models, trademarks, logos, texts, and documentation—are and remain the exclusive property of Sharestead AI and its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Platform strictly in compliance with these Terms.
6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
The Platform is delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uptime, or error-free operation. Under no circumstances shall Sharestead AI, its directors, officers, employees, or contractors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from digital asset market volatility, algorithmic execution delays, exchange API outages, connectivity interruptions, or loss of capital.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sharestead AI, its corporate affiliates, directors, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your trading operations, or your violation of applicable laws.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial laws therein, without regard to principles of conflicts of law. Any controversy or dispute shall first be submitted to good-faith informal negotiation between the parties before initiating formal legal proceedings in a competent court.
